New technical staff for the Spanish national team

The national coach, Luis de la Fuente, announced on Monday the names of the six people who will carry out some of the most important roles in the national team.

In the presentation ceremony of Luis de la Fuente as the new national coach this Monday, it also came out the list of people who will accompany the coach from La Rioja in this exciting stage.

The list consists of great and prestigious professionals, and they all have previously been members of the technical staff of the Spanish Federation.

Here are their names:

PABLO AMO AGUADO: He was born on 15 January 1978 in Madrid, and he will be the assistant coach of the Spanish National Team. He played as a footballer in the First Division of different European countries and he has worked as Spanish national coach of U-18, U-19 since 2019, after working in countries such as China, India, Australia or Mexico as coach of different categories.

JUAN JOSÉ GONZÁLEZ ARGÜELLES: He was born in Gijón on 9 October 1973, and he will be the new technical assistant of the national team, after having worked as Spain's goalkeeping coach during the last World Cup. He has been First Division goalkeeper, so he is an experienced player.

CARLOS ALBERTO CRUZ CARBONERO: He was born on 31 October 1986 in Móstoles, Madrid, and he will continue to work as physical trainer for the Spanish National Team. He has had this role during the last World Cup. Graduated in Physical and Sports Activities at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a Masters Degree in Football Management by the RFEF and the University of Castilla La Mancha, he has over fifteen years of experience in physical preparation at different clubs, including Real Madrid and Spanish national team at different levels.

MIGUEL ÁNGEL ESPAÑA ROSADO: He was born in Madrid on 14 May 1973, and he will be the new goalkeeping coach of the Spanish National Team after experiencing this role over fifteen years in different categories of the National Team. By doing so, he has won a dozen titles, including the silver medal during the last Olympic Games held in Tokyo. During his time as a footballer, he was the goalkeeper for several seasons in the Spanish First Division.

PABLO PEÑA DELGADO: He was born on 3 July 1984 in Madrid, and he will be the analysis coordinator of the Spanish National Team, with which he has worked since 2009 in four World Cups (including South Africa 2010), three European Championships and two Confederations Cups, among other tournaments. During his time as a footballer, he was goalkeeper at different categories of Real Madrid and Villarreal CF.

JAVIER LÓPEZ VALLEJO: He was born in Pamplona on 22 September 1975, and he will be the new psychologist for the men's national team. He has had this role in the women's national team over the last few years. During his time as a professional footballer, he was a goalkeeper in different teams at the highest levels in Spain and Greece. In addition, he was an international player with the national team from U-16 to U-23, winning the 1991 European Championship in Switzerland and the second place in the World Championship in Italy in the same year.
