After winning the European Championships in an impossible to forget marvellous tour of Germany that ended in glory in Berlin on 14 July, Spain are back in action once again. International commitments are back and the national team are back in action with the first two rounds of the UEFA Nations League, an increasingly attractive tournament in which the national team are also the reigning champions.

To begin with, in this September window they play Serbia in Belgrade (Thursday 5, 20:45) and Switzerland in Geneva (Sunday 8, 20:45). Both games can be followed on La1.

You can follow the press conference LIVE on the national team's official social media.

Luis de la Fuente is set to announce his squad for these matches on Friday 30. The squad list will be made public at 11:30 on the Royal Spanish Football Federation official channels and then, from 12:30, the coach will address the media in the José Villalonga media room at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas. He will do so immediately after the appearance of Santi Denia, who, also on Friday, is due to announce the U21 squad for the matches against Scotland (Friday 6) and Hungary (Tuesday 10), both qualifiers for the 2025 U21 European Championships.

Spain are scheduled to meet up for training on Monday 2 September and will travel to Belgrade on Wednesday 4. They face another new challenge with sky-high hopes, but aware of the demands and rigours of two top level away matches to kick of their new campaign
