With words of recognition for the great success of being designated by FIFA as the organizing federations for the 2030 World Cup, Luis de la Fuente wished to start by congratulating the RFEF and the other national entities favored in his appearance before the media this Friday.

The coach then assessed the list of 24 players who will represent Spain this month in the qualifying matches against Scotland and Norway, which could seal the team's ticket to the final stages of the Eurocopa.

"We are playing for the mathematical qualification for the Eurocuopa" De la Fuente pointed out, "and that is what matters. You always learn, and we did from the match against Scotland. We learned the lesson and evolved. They were and still are a very tough team, but we are not the same as in March or June."

Therefore, the coach from La Rioja is optimistic because "good teams are built from a solid foundation, but my confidence is not baseless. They have earned my trust. There are many hungry people who want to make their mark."

For Luis de la Fuente, "the best players at this moment are the ones who are called up," while pointing out that "any footballer could come. There are many very good players, and unfortunately, some must be left out. I decide the list and encourage everyone to keep working hard to make it increasingly difficult for me."

For the coach, the great moment of the national team is necessarily contributed to by the work of the clubs, as well as the excellent training of Spanish coaches. All of this allows Luis de la Fuente to be convinced of the promising future that awaits the national team: "We have very clear ideas, we know where we want to go, and that makes us very strong," he concluded hopefully.
