Luis de la Fuente will announce the call-up on Friday, September 1, for the matches against Georgia and Cyprus. On that day, he will reveal the list of players selected for the two games that the Spanish National Team must face against Georgia and Cyprus as part of the qualifying phase for the Euro 2024 in Germany. This marks Spain's return to competition following their brilliant victory in the UEFA Nations League last June in Rotterdam. The match against Georgia will take place in Tbilisi on Friday, September 8, followed by the match against Cyprus in Granada on Tuesday, September 12.
The coach from La Rioja will address the media at 12.30 PM in the José Villalonga room at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas, at which time he will also announce the list of players called up for the double qualifier.
Afterwards, it will be the U21 coach, Santi Denia, who will announce the list to face Malta and Scotland in the qualifiers for the 2025 European Championship.
