Luis Enrique: "The challenge is beautiful because Germany is the national team that plays the most similar to Spain".

The Spanish national coach faces Sunday's challenge against the Germans with confidence in the playing style with which the national team impressed on their World Cup debut: "I have full confidence in all the players".

Opponent: "Germany is a national team that always plays in attack, tries to keep the ball and press on the opponent. It is the national team that plays the most similar to Spain and that's why it's a challenge. We'll see who comes out on top".

History: "You look at their jersey and you see four championship stars. I played against them in 1994 and they impress with their physical power. Spain can beat anyone and we are convinced that we can win against Germany. That's our goal".

Gavi: "The most surprising thing is that someone who has just turned 18 has that confidence and plays like he does. He has great qualities and we shouldn't go crazy about him because of his young age, but he is a player who can make a difference".

Triumph: "We handled the win in a normal way. Making such a strong debut generates confidence, but we mustn't get overconfident. The challenge is very attractive".

Group: "You never know what's best. Tomorrow we will play knowing the other result and the important thing is to control what is in our power".

"What rules in today's football is equality. We have seen surprising results and that is the wonder of football".

Lineup: "I don't have a lineup for every game. We decide the lineup based on the training sessions. There are variables and I don't usually repeat the lineups. It's not the starting lineup what only matters, but the 16 or even the 26 players. We have to do what gets us closer to the desired result".

Challenge: "Germany has a lot of mobility on the pitch and the challenge is to know how to manage it. They have the same principles as us which means having doubts to resolve but not knowing them until the match has started.

World Cup: "What rules in today's football is equality. We've seen surprising results and that is the wonder of football".

Character: "I didn't expect to show such a strong version of myself on my debut, but to be honest I'm more comfortable dealing with problems and difficulties than with easy moments. That's when my Asturian and Gijón streak comes out:

Squad: "I set the lineup to have more possession of the ball than the opponents, to have more chances and to avoid them reaching our area. I have two players per position and three in some cases. I have full confidence in all of them".

Determination: "Hopefully there are a lot of matches to play. Our aim is not to win scoring a lot of goals again, but to channel the game towards the one we are better than Germany".

Improvement: "Mistakes are always there, but you have to make a difference between those that depend on you and those that depend on the opponent. We all attack and defend, and if someone doesn't keep to the game, the rest of players in the team are affected. Our challenge is to show that we are not going to speculate against one of the favourit national teams that need to win".

Priority: "In such a short competition, we don't reward consistency, but playing well in the important moments".
