Luis Rubiales attended this Sunday the finals of the U-12 Spanish Regional Team Championships, which have been held since Saturday in Madrid and whose outcome took place in Las Rozas.
The president of the RFEF wanted to enjoy this special tournament and share his experiences with the finalists. Rubiales urged them to continue to enjoy this important training phase, and also expressed his commitment to the coaches and regional managers.
The semifinals and finals of this high-level mixed event were played at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas, a football party with a capital "F". The previous matches were held at the Cotorruelo and Valdebernardo facilities and in the three venues, sportsmanship and good harmony between the participating teams prevailed.
The final touch came with the presentation of trophies to the champions, and President Rubiales was in charge of awarding the winners. Catalonia won the women's tournament and Andalusia the men's tournament.
