Luis Rubiales attends, as UEFA Vice President, the assembly of the Cyprus Football Association

On behalf of Aleksander Čeferin, the president of the RFEF was present at the re-election of Giorgos Koumas as the head of Cypriot football

The president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, Luis Rubiales, was present on Monday in Limassol at the re-election of Giorgos Koumas as the head of the Cyprus Football Association, extending his mandate until 2027. Rubiales attended the Cypriot general assembly as the UEFA Vice President representing President Aleksander Čeferin.

In his speech, Luis Rubiales praised the great work being done in Cyprus and the significant role it plays in international football, with evident growth of the Mediterranean country in all areas.

This will be Koumas' second term as the head of the CFA. Koumas is also a member of the FIFA Council.
