Luis Rubiales presides over the institutional act on the Women's Supercopa final
The president of the RFEF welcomed the authorities at half-time of the final match between Real Sociedad and FC Barcelona at Estadio Romano José Fouto in Mérida.
Mr Guillermo Fernández Vara, president of the Regional Government of Extremadura; Mr Antonio Rodríguez Osuna, mayor of Mérida; Nacho Ramos, general director of AD Mérida; Lucía Santiago, director of communication of Consejo Superior de Deportes; and Pedro Rocha, vice-president of the RFEF and president of the Extremadura Federation, received a gift from the president of the Spanish Football Federation.
The institutional act held during the final half-time was also attended by the vice-president of the RFEF and Rafael del Amo, president of the National Women's Football Committee.
Likewise, Jokin Aperribay, president of Real Sociedad, and Xavier Puig, the head of women's football at FC Barcelona, exchanged some gifts and took a family photo at the end of the ceremony.
