Maximum cordiality on the eve of the title duel between Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid this Saturday in Leganés
Just 24 hours before the celebration of women's football with the final of the Copa de SM la Reina - Iberdrola at the Butarque stadium in Leganés, the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas was the setting for the commemorative ceremony prior to the Madrid derby for the title between Real Madrid CF and Club Atlético de Madrid.
The president of the RFEF, Luis Rubiales, acted as host. For their part, the representatives of the finalist teams, Lola Romero, president of Atlético femenino and Catalina Miñarro, director of the Real Madrid women's section, expressed their shared desire for a great spectacle to be experienced in the city of Madrid on Saturday.
The event held on Friday night at the headquarters of the governing body of Spanish football was attended by representatives of the main institutions involved in the organization of the final, such as the City Council of Leganés in the figure of its Mayor, Santiago Llorente Gutiérrez; the Community of Madrid in the person of the Deputy Director General of Sports Management, Antonio Guerrero Olea; CD Leganés with the presence of Martin Ortega or the Royal Football Federation of Madrid in the figure of its president, Francisco Díez.
Luis Rubiales presented all of them with a commemorative gift for the final. To put the finishing touch to this institutional act, all the protagonists and representatives of this final of the Copa de la Reina have posed together in a family photo.
