Magical Night at the Mestalla
A total of 48,082 people crowded into the Mestalla on 23 March to cheer on the National Team. Valencia fully embraced La Roja, and the sight of the iconic stadium packed to the rafters, glowing with colour, served as inspiration for a team that can now boast, for the third consecutive time, of reaching the Final Four of the UEFA Nations League.
From the pre-match build-up, where the fans gave the team a spectacular welcome, to Pedri’s decisive penalty in the shootout, the match was a total spectacle: the anthem passionately produced by all, the relentless start by the Spanish players, the response to each Dutch goal… Every aspect was top notch entertainment
It was a special night on the banks of the Turia, and beyond the result, the 120 minutes of play showcased the deep connection between the national team and the Valencian supporters, who reunited with their country again after six years.
On 14 June, it will be a century since Spain’s first-ever match at the home of Valencia CF.
