MATCH REPORT | Brazil end Spain’s golden dreams and leave them fighting for bronze
It was a match in which everything was always against us and it ended up finishing Spain's dreams of being Olympic champions. Brazil took an early lead and Spain never found a way back into it, eventually losing 4-2.
Now it is time to turn the corner and prepare for Friday's match against Germany because there is an Olympic medal at stake. In the national team's first participation in an Olympic event, they could end up with a bronze medal, and that would go down in the history of Spanish sport.
That match is this Friday at 15:00 in the afternoon in Lyon.
