Montse Tomé and Tere Abelleira spoke to the media at the official press conference ahead of the UEFA Women's Nations League match against Italy. The coach stressed that "the team is feeling good" and that she is "looking forward to this last training session before the match".
They will be playing for qualification against tough opponents in an Italy side who made things difficult for them in the first leg, but the national team will be going all out for the win from the very first minute: "Italy are a strong team, a good opponent. It's a top-level match and we're looking forward to it with a lot of enthusiasm and a lot of strength".
Montse Tomé also wanted to thank Galicia for the continuing support they have been receiving in the build up to the match and with what is expected to be a wonderful welcome from the fans at tomorrow's match: "I want to thank the whole of Galicia for the affection they are showing us".
For her part, Teresa Abelleira explained what it means for her to play on her home soil and have the chance to qualify for the next stage of the UEFA Women's Nations League: "I'm very happy and pleased, and I'm looking forward to tomorrow's game. We are motivated because we can achieve a great goal.
