Montse Tomé: “It’s the most demanding path possible”

Switzerland hosted the draw at the start of this week to determine the four groups that will make up Euro 2025, which will take place from 2 to 27 July.

After learning that Spain will face Portugal, Belgium, and Italy in the initial phase of the competition, the Spain coach talked over the team’s rivals, as well as the host nation whose stadiums that will host the continental tournament.

Montse Tomé expressed that she was “pleased with the draw” and emphasised that it represents “the most demanding path possible, these will be three tough matches, and we will have to work with humility.”

To conclude, regarding the host nation and its stadiums, the coach highlighted that “we have eight top venues, there will be great hype, and I believe this will be the Euros ever with the best football.”
