Spain are set to face Portugal in April on their path towards the UEFA Nations League final stages, a tournament in which they are the reigning champions. The upcoming fixtures are scheduled for April 4 in Paços de Ferreira, and April 8, when Spain play at home, at the Abanca Balaídos stadium against the Portuguese.

Taking advantage of being in Vigo, where she will announce her squad and hold a press conference this Friday, Montse Tomé enjoyed a pleasant afternoon with a group of representatives of women's football from the province of Pontevedra.

Tomé took the opportunity to stroll through the historic streets of Vigo and have a coffee with players, coaches, and directors of clubs from the Second and Third RFEF women's divisions. Clubs represented included Atlético Villalonga, AS Celtas, Sárdona CF, and Lóstrego CF.

Also present at the gathering were Silvia Cancela, director of the Real Federación Galega de Fútbol, Marian Mouriño, president of RC Celta, and Luisa Sánchez, vice president of the Diputación de Pontevedra, who hosted Montse Tomé on Thursday afternoon in Vigo.

The Spanish National Team is due to announce its squad for the double-header against Portugal this Friday at 11:30 AM, via the Royal Spanish Football Federation’s official channels. Shortly after, at 12:00 noon, Montse Tomé will face the media in the press room of the Abanca Balaídos stadium in Vigo.

Tickets for the match between Spain and Portugal on April 8 at 19:00 are on sale on the official RFEF website: https://tickets.rfef.es/
