Montse Tomé: "We're really excited and we're full of energy".

Montse Tomé has announced her squad of 26 players for Spain’s upcoming international commitments. The Spanish National Team will play two qualifiers for the next European Championships against the Czech Republic and Belgium. The matches will also serve as perfect preparation for the Olympic Games in Paris.

At the press conference following the squad announcement, the national coach reflected on Spain's imminent participation in the Olympics. Many players have worked and contributed to this group of professionals and, although not all of them will be able to go to Paris, Tomé took the opportunity to thank them all for their involvement: "I would like to send a message of thanks to all the players who have been here since September. They have all contributed in their roles".

"Being at the Olympic Games is a dream for every athlete, but I have to think about what the team needs at all times", explained the national coach about the difficulty of making the final decisions for important tournaments such as the one that will be played in France
