Montse Tomé: "We want to get the Riazor bouncing"

Montse Tomé wanted to start her press conference by sending a message of congratulations to the Spanish Men's National Football Team after their Euro 2024 success last night at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.

In addition, the coach expressed her pride in the team led by Luis de la Fuente and his coaching staff: "It is something magical for the sport and for our country", said the Asturian coach.

Regarding tomorrow's match, the coach acknowledged that the Spanish national team is the team to beat for all the other nations after their recent successes at the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand and the UEFA Women's Nations League win at the Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville.

In addition, Montse Tomé expects to find a strong opponent in Belgium, with outstanding players such as Wullaert, De Caigny or Missipo among others: "They are a very complete team against whom we will have to give our best".

Finally, Tomé thanked the city of La Coruña for its warm welcome and encouraged the fans to come to the Riazor stadium to support the Spanish national team in its last match before heading to France for the Olympic Games.
