Netherlands, Spain's opponents in Nations League quarter-finals

The Netherlands are Spain's opponents in the quarter-finals of the Nations League. The Spanish national team will first travel to the Netherlands for the first leg on 20 March, while the return leg will be played on Spanish soil on Sunday 23 March. The national team were handed their opponents at the draw held by UEFA this Friday morning in Nyon (Switzerland), after completing a great qualifying campaign as leaders of Group A4 in League A.

The other quarter-final clashes will pit Croatia against France, Denmark against Portugal and, finally, Italy against Germany. All these matches will also take place between 20 and 23 March next year.

The draw also decided the semi-finals in which the winner of the Netherlands v Spain will play the winner of the match between Croatia and France. The other semi-final will be between the winners of Italy v Germany and Denmark v Portugal.
