OFFICIAL I Alexia Putellas drops out of the squad and is replaced by Fiamma Benítez

Alexia Putellas has been ruled out of the Spain squad for the friendlies against South Korea and France due to injury. In her place, Montse Tomé has called up Atlético de Madrid player Fiamma Benítez.

The international training camp, the last of the year 2024, is due to kick off in the afternoon of Monday 25 November at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas. The players are set to arrive at the team’s base where they will stay until their trip to Cartagena where they play against the Koreans in the first of the matches of this next international window. The match will take place on Friday 29 November, at 19h, at the Cartagonova Stadium (La 1, TVE).

The second of the friendlies will also be against a tough opponent, France, in Nice on Tuesday 3 December. This final game of 2024 will have a very special competitive atmosphere around it as it is against the team Spain beat in the final of the UEFA Women's Nations League in February to become champions of the first edition of this tournament.
