The venues will from then on always be known for hosting the first-ever UEFA Women's Nations League finals, finals in which Spain plan to win the title and book their place at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Montse Tomé's team had an excellent group stage, beating the likes of Sweden, Italy and Switzerland to earn the right to take part in the final four, which will be decided by one-legged games.
The Spanish National Team’s semi-final against the Netherlands will take place on Friday, 23 February (21:00), at the Nuevo Mirandilla Stadium in Cadiz. Once this round is over, the final or third and fourth place play-off, depending on Spain's result in the previous match, will be held at the Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville. It will take place on Wednesday, 28 February. The appointment of these stadiums for these matches is part of the collaboration agreement signed between the Royal Spanish Football Federation and the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport of the Andalusian Regional Government.
It should be remembered that the two finalists will automatically qualify for the next Olympic Games, although in the event that it is France (hosts) who reach the final, the winner of the third and fourth place play-off will also get a ticket to compete in the Games in the French capital.
