Olga Carmona: "Our goal is to be at the Olympic Games"
Olga Carmona spoke to the media at a press conference a few days before facing Italy in the first UEFA Women's Nations League match of this training camp.
The Spanish national team player, one of the leadership group of captains, thanked the coach, Montse Tomé, for having confidence in her: "There are many players in this team who can lead this group and I thank Montse and all her staff for their trust".

As well as picking apart the soon to be played Nations League matches, in which she acknowledged that "there is no easy opponent" and that "they will fight to the death", she made it clear that the whole team is focused on qualifying for the Olympic Games: "One dreams of doing great things, like scoring a goal that gets us through to the Olympics. I don't care who scores the goal. We just want to be there.

Finally, she explained how the World Cup has changed her life: "The World Cup has transformed my life at all levels. I am proud and happy, but I want Olga to be recognised for her performance and not just for that achievement.
