Mikel Oyarzabal suffered muscular discomfort in his left hamstring and will leave the national team training camp when it lands in Valladolid on Friday.
The Real Sociedad player left the Limassol Stadium in the first half after Spain's third goal against Cyprus, having asked to be substituted after feeling discomfort in his thigh.
Pending medical tests, Oyarzabal is likely to be unavailable when the squad arrives in Valladolid, where Spain will play their final game of this Euro 2024 qualifying campaign against Georgia on Sunday.
Oyarzabal will not be replaced and the squad will be reduced to 24 players.
