The days of pensive, downcast faces are behind them. The story of the semi-final against Brazil is now over. A radiant sun shone over Lyon, as it has for most of the tournament, and after lunch, the players headed to their training centre to complete their final session of the Olympic Tournament.
The national team approached this session in Lyon with enthusiasm, ambition, drive, and happiness. This Friday, at 15:00, Spain will try to achieve something unprecedented: winning a bronze medal at the Olympic Games. They face Germany, a rival they have never beaten. This makes their excitement even greater.
