Pedri's magic has turned up again to take FC Barcelona to the Supercopa final. He brings dynamism to his team's attacking and helps with a well-balanced defence. He showed quality and mastery during the 120 minutes. It was from his skills that Lewandowski scored and he once again showed his personality and maturity by scoring the decisive penalty in the shoot-out: "When I saw that I was on the list of penalty takers, I was sure of the side of my shot". This is how confident he was in front of the journalists at press conference after the match.

There are reasons enough to be chosen as Man Of The Match, an award that he received humbly. He also recognised that his team-mate Ter Stegen deserved it as much as he did: "He made a great save and thanks to his saves we are in the final".

With the first objective achieved, he can just think about winning on Sunday: "Hopefully, it can be the first title of many in Xavi's time as coach". They will face Real Madrid in the final of the #superSupercopa in a Clasico that is worth a title: "It's a final and we have do our best. Real Madrid won't make it easy and we'll have to play a great game. We're really looking forward to taking the cup home".
