Pedro Rocha joins Leyendas España in Seville
On the occasion of the match between Spain and Scotland, corresponding to the qualification phase of the 2024 Eurocopa, Leyendas España (Spain Legends) organized a gathering of footballers in Seville, attended by Pedro Rocha, president of the Management Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF). Accompanied by Pablo Lozano, president of the Royal Andalusian Football Federation (RFAF), and Fernando Giner, president of Leyendas España, Pedro Rocha took part in awarding legendary shirts to Andalusian players or those settled in Andalusia who have represented the National Team.
A diverse representation of Leyendas España (Spain Legends) reunited at an event that, before the traditional shirt presentation, involved boys and girls aged between 12 and 16 from Sevilla FC, Real Betis, and other local teams. They shared experiences and advice for an exciting future, all in the presence of a football.
Having a few moments with footballers they have seen or, for the older ones, heard about from their parents and grandparents was a unique experience. They will always remember the opportunity to ask questions and seek advice, listening attentively to reflections on the values that should guide them daily to achieve the dream these legends once fulfilled.
To conclude this emotional day, Diego Rodríguez, Juanmi, Pier, Diego Tristán, Diego Capel, and Nolito received the legendary shirt with the ordinal number of their debut. They were joined by another group of international players who had already received the commemorative shirt on a previous occasion but took the opportunity to join them on a day that brought back many memories of their active playing days.
