Pedro Rocha presides over the institutional ceremony prior to the Spain-Brazil encounter

The head of the RFEF's Management Committee exchanged gifts between the various dignitaries who attended the match at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

On the occasion of the match that brought together the two former world champions in the Spanish capital, the RFEF acted as host in the official box at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium during the institutional act that preceded the match.

At the event, the president of the Management Committee of the governing body of Spanish football presented the commemorative gifts for this international clash to the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sport of the Community of Madrid, Mariano de Paco Serrano; as well as to the presidents of the Spanish Olympic Committee, Alejandro Blanco; of Real Madrid, Florentino Pérez and of the Royal Football Federation of Madrid, Francisco Díez.

Rocha also exchanged gifts with the president of the Brazilian Football Confederation, Ednaldo Rodrigues Gomes, who gave him a personalised shirt of the Brazilian national team and also received a Spanish national team shirt with the name of the South American leader.

In what is the tenth match in the history of the two national teams, Spain and Brazil played out a thrilling six-goal draw on Tuesday at the Santiago Bernabéu, whose colourful stands were full of support for the national team throughout the match.
