The president of the RFEF's Management Committee proposes "a dynamic of constant consultation" that will allow us to come together for the benefit of football:  Stating, "only through unity will we be able to move forward".

The president of the RFEF Management Committee, Pedro Rocha, attended the LaLiga General Assembly this morning, and during his speech he called for unity in order to "always work for the benefit of football in Spain", moreover, with the 2030 World Cup on the horizon. "We are counting on everyone to make the dream possible," he said.

Rocha, who spoke at the beginning of the General Assembly, said that his clear objective as president of the RFEF management team is to "rebuild, build bridges, stabilise and move football forward". To this end, he said that he will keep "the door of the Federation open to everyone", creating "a dynamic of constant consultation" in which he expressly named the president of LaLiga, Javier Tebas. "Only through unity will we be able to move forward; we have more challenges than ever and we must face them together," he said.

Among these challenges, Pedro Rocha highlighted the 2030 World Cup bid, which in his words is "the biggest thing anyone can imagine in the world of football". To make it possible, Rocha called on all the members of the LaLiga assembly to work towards this candidacy. "It is the hope of the whole country, and we count on all of you to make this dream possible," he stressed.

The president of the RFEF's Management Committee said he felt  “great satisfaction and enormous enthusiasm for the massive amount of great work we have put into the bid”, a bid that Spain shares with Morocco and Portugal. He noted that it is a project which all the members of the LaLiga assembly will play a big part in, one way or another, hence, he called for their continued collaboration to bring this shared dream to fruition.
