Pellegrini: "Coming back twice makes us value what we did more"
The Betic coach raves about the behavior of his team against Barça and is "very satisfied" with the game played
Manuel Pellegrini, coach of Real Betis Balompié, stated at a press conference that he was "very satisfied" with the performance of his team. "We played well in the last 15 minutes of the first half and in the second half we were superior," he summed up, "and it was decided on penalties in which they were more successful than us."
The match, in his opinion, pitted two teams "that play very good football"; and in which "the fact of coming back twice makes us appreciate what we did more," he stated, emphasizing his regret of not having been able to reach the final that they wanted so badly.

The tie with which they reached the end of the 90 regulation minutes and the extra time seemed "fair" to Pellegrini, although he insisted that his team had probably been superior in the whole of the match.
