Plans for the Spanish national team's training camp

This Tuesday, 25 June 2024, Montse Tomé is due to announce her squad for Spain’s final two Euro 2025 qualifiers. Spain already have their tickets for the tournament in Switzerland, but there are still two games to go, the national team will face Czech Republic on 12 July at the Stadium FC Chomutov, and Belgium on 16 July at the Riazor Stadium.

The squad will be made up of 26 players, from which 22 will be selected (18+4) to play in the Women's Olympic Tournament for the first time in Spanish women’s history. This training camp will also serve to prepare for the Paris Games, which is why it will begin on 30 June and will last until 17 July. After that date, the training camp will be dissolved to make way for the final Olympic Games training group.

The players will work from 30 June to 5 July in Los Ángeles de San Rafael and, after that first week, they will return to training on Monday 8 July at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas. The Spanish national team will then travel to the Czech Republic on 10 July to play on 12 July. Once the match is over, the group will return to Madrid to continue with their preparations until they travel to La Coruña on the 14th for the last match of the qualifying phase for the European Championships, which will be against Belgium in Riazor.

Montse Tomé's team will return to the Spanish capital on 17 July to begin their final training camp before the Olympic Games. It will not be until the 21st when the national team will head to France, specifically to Nantes, to begin a historic journey.
