Presidents' meeting before the Supercopa final
Luis Rubiales held a very fruitful meeting in Riyadh with the heads of the regional federations.
In the run-up to the final of the Spanish Supercopa, Luis Rubiales, president of the Spanish Football Federation, met in Riyadh with the presidents of the regional federations. They discussed several issues and decided on the steps to be taken in the future in a very productive meeting.
It was an intense working meeting with representation from all the regional federations (physically and remotely), and other RFEF leaders from different departments. The summit has been useful to share information and compare opinions of an economic and sporting nature. The management and planning in order to meet the expectations outlined was established as well, so that the RFEF and the regional associations themselves continue to grow.
The RFEF has placed the plan on the table to be fulfilled in the upcoming months. It consists of the candidacy to host the World Cup 2030 along with Portugal and Ukraine, so the current venue posed by the new Sports Law and the changes involved in its approval have also been analysed.
