In light of the information published yesterday regarding the complaint filed by Mr. Xavier Estrada Fernández at the Higher Sports Council, the Royal Spanish Football Federation wishes to clarify the following points:
- The money provided by La Liga for refereeing within the coordination agreement with the RFEF is scrupulously used in the established items and the Federation returns the unspent amounts in full at the end of each season.
- Since the 2018/19 season, the RFEF has returned €3,375,590.72 to La Liga.
- The RFEF makes available to the CSD all the documentation it deems appropriate to prove these claims and to confirm where every cent of the agreement earmarked for refereeing has been spent.
