The Tartan Army's win over Spain at Hampden Park has left them three points off top spot on the road to next year's European Championship in Germany.
Georgia and Norway played out a one-goal draw in the other Group A match on Tuesday, leaving Luis de la Fuente's side now situated in a place that gives them access to the finals.
Next June, this group will resume with two more matches, although Spain will not return until September 8 with its visit to Tbilisi, since the next challenge for the national team will be the conquest of the UEFA Nations League, whose final four will be played precisely from June 14 to 18 in the Netherlands.

The top two teams in the group qualify directly for the group stage of a Euro 2024 that Germany will hold from June of next year.
