Thursday's goalless draw in Belgrade kicked off the latest edition of the UEFA Nations League with Spain the reigning continental champions.
The Balkans and Iberians trail Denmark in Group A4 after Thursday's 2-0 win over Switzerland with goals from Patrick Dorgu and midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg in the final minutes of the match in Copenhagen.
The Swiss are Spain's next opponents on Sunday 8 September at 20:45 in Geneva, with live coverage on La1.
Denmark and Serbia face each other next this Sunday in the second day of a group whose table is as follows:
