Rafael Louzán Begins His Visits to Regional Federations by Joining Murcia’s Centenary Celebrations
The President of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) joined Vice President José Miguel Monje, President of the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia, following the establishment of the RFEF Board of Directors.
The first national trip for the new President of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Rafael Louzán, took him to the Region of Murcia, where he attended part of the events celebrating the Centenary of the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia (FFRM).
One of the key events was the “La Luz” forum, a renowned platform for Murcian talent, which dedicated this month’s gathering to the Centenary of the FFRM. The main speaker was José Miguel Monje Carrillo, President of the FFRM and Vice President of the RFEF, who reflected on the origins of the FFRM and the significant progress made in regional football and futsal in recent years.
Louzán and Monje Carrillo were joined by Sergio Merchán, Vice President and President of the Extremadura Football Federation, David Aganzo, Vice President and President of the Spanish Footballers’ Association (AFE), José Antonio Camacho, Vice President of the AFE, along with representatives from institutions, local councils, social and trade organisations, and prominent figures from regional football. Among them were FIFA international referee from Lorca, José María Sánchez Martínez, Tomás Fuertes, Felipe Moreno (Real Murcia), and Antonia González (STV Roldán). The Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, was also present, alongside José Luis Morga, Honorary President of the FFRM, Concepción Ruiz, Minister for Social Policy, and Fran Sánchez, Director General of Sports.
During the event, Rafael Louzán presented a Spanish national team jersey to José Antonio Ruiz Vivo, the coordinator of the La Luz Forum, as well as to José Monje Carrillo, President of the FFRM.
