Rafael Louzán presents Real Betis with the División de Honor Juvenil champions’ trophy
The president of the RFEF visited the Ciudad Deportiva Rafael Gordillo before the youth team’s league match within Group IV
Before experiencing the grand final of the Mapfre Copa del Rey, president Rafael Louzán wanted to accompany the Group IV champions of the División de Honor Juvenil on Saturday morning, who were playing their league match against Cádiz CF. During his visit to the Ciudad Deportiva Rafael Gordillo, the president of the RFEF was joined by the president of Real Betis Balompié, Ángel Haro, as well as legendary Betis footballers Rafael Gordillo and Joaquín Sánchez.
Before the start of their match Louzán presented Real Betis with the trophy recognising them as División de Honor Juvenil Group IV champions, a moment that the players and their technical staff took the opportunity to celebrate.
In addition, the president of the RFEF took the opportunity to get to know the new facilities that the green and white club has built in the town of Dos Hermanas.
During the visit, Rafael Louzán was accompanied by vice-president Sergio Merchán, the president of the Royal Andalusian Football Federation, Pedro Curtido, board member Minerva Salas, as well as the secretary general of the RFEF, Álvaro de Miguel; the general director, Manuel Lalinde, and the director of competitions of the RFEF, Alberto Bárez.
