Rafael Louzán receives the President of the Ukrainian Football Association, Andriy Shevchenko

The presidents of the Spanish and Ukrainian federations held a cordial meeting at the federation headquarters at the Ciudad del Fútbol

The Royal Spanish Football Federation and its president, Rafael Louzán, welcomed to the Ciudad del Fútbol a visit from the former striker, considered the best player in the history of Ukraine, and now president of that country's Federation, Andriy Shevchenko.

The president of the RFEF conveyed to his counterpart the solidarity and affection of all Spanish football for the people of Ukraine. Louzán and Shevchenko, accompanied by the RFEF's Director of International Relations, Eduard Dervishaj, as well as by the Secretary General and the Vice-President of the Ukrainian Federation, Igor Gryshchenko and Oleksandr Shevchenko, held a working meeting during which they explored possible forms of collaboration between the two national federations.

Among them, the initiative that will be launched in collaboration with various institutions so that Ukrainian boys and girls can take part in various football camps. In addition, training meetings for the exchange of knowledge between Spanish and Ukrainian coaches will be run, and the possibility of Ukrainian teams playing official competition matches in Spain will be explored.
