Renfe, Official Train of the Royal Spanish Football Federation

The railway company becomes the Official Train of the men's and women's national teams, the men's U21 team, as well as the Copa del Rey and the Copa de la Reina.

The RFEF and the railway operator Renfe have reached an agreement for the company to become the Official Train of the Royal Spanish Football Federation. The agreement was presented on Wednesday at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas by the president of the RFEF, Luis Rubiales, and the president of Renfe, Raül Blanco.

The agreement aims to promote train travel among athletes and football fans, building upon the close collaboration between both parties in this regard. It should be noted that Renfe was the Official Train for the Copa del Rey final held on May 6th at the Estadio de La Cartuja (Seville), as well as the final phase of the Copa de la Reina played in Leganés. Up until now, the railway company was an official collaborator of the men's and women's national teams.

Now, this partnership expands, as Renfe becomes the Official Train of the Men's and Women's National Football Teams, as well as the Men's U21 Team. It will also be the Official Train of the Copa del Rey and the Copa de la Reina.

In this way, Renfe reaffirms its commitment to sports, as the Train of Spanish Sports, linking its image to the competitions organized by the RFEF and the Spanish National Football Team. The RFEF, on the other hand, embraces public transportation by choosing the least polluting option, as the energy used by Renfe is certified and entirely sourced from renewable sources, making it carbon-neutral.
