Due to the recent storm DANA storm that has caused numerous casualties and widespread damage across Spain, with significant impact in the Valencian Region, the RFEF has received a request from LaLiga, at the request of clubs, to postpone the scheduled matches in matchday 12 of the First Division and matchday 13 of the Second Division that were set to be played in the Valencian Region this weekend: Villarreal CF-Rayo Vallecano, Valencia CF-Real Madrid, CD Castellón-RC Ferrol, CD Eldense-SD Huesca, and Levante UD-Málaga CF.

Similarly, as with the first-round Copa del Rey matches and several games in the under-14 and under-16 CESA competitions, the RFEF will request the same measure be applied to non-professional competitions taking place in the affected region.

For the rest of the LaLiga matches, as well as other federation matches, a minute of silence will be held in memory of the victims of storm Dana.

Additionally, the RFEF has requested the postponement of the Liga F match between Valencia Féminas and RC Deportivo, extending this request to other non-professional matches taking place in the Valencian Community.

Spanish football wishes to express its sorrow and condolences regarding the ongoing tragedy and extends condolences to the families of the deceased and affected.
