RFEF and LALIGA implement the racist incident protocol in all competitions

The Royal Spanish Football Federation together with LALIGA are set to incorporate the racist incidents protocol approved at the last FIFA Congress held in Bangkok into their Protocol of Action on Public Incidents. This agreement was unanimously adopted in order to continue fighting racism jointly and efficiently.
Therefore, both institutions, which remain firm in their commitment to the fight against any discrimination in football and especially against racist attitudes and behaviours, are going to implement this global and unequivocal measures in all their competitions.
The signal can be activated by the referee of each match if they personally observes racist behaviour, or upon receiving information from a football player or the security coordinator of the State Security Forces and Corps of discriminatory attitudes.
The Protocol of Actions against racism, xenophobia and intolerance in Football, which has been in place since 2005, had been reinforced with this latest specific pinch for cases of racism, and is another step in the fight against racism, ranging from regulations and sanctions to awareness raising and education to fight against any type of discrimination.
