RFEF board of directors approves the appointment of Luis de la Fuente

The board of directors of the Spanish Football Federation, which met on Monday, has validated the report presented by the sports management. They have approved the appointment of Luis de la Fuente as national coach.
De la Fuente (Haro, 1961), who was in charge of the under-21 national team, will boost the national team after the sports management considered the need for a change after the World Cup in Qatar. The coach from La Rioja, an expert in Spanish national football, will be presented this Monday at 12:30 in Luis Aragonés assembly hall.
The Spanish national team will be back to play next March with the first matches of the qualifying phase for Euro 2024, which will be held in Germany. They will play against Norway at home and Scotland away.
