RFEF calls by-elections for the General Assembly 2025
The collective of football players participating in regional-level competitions of a non-professional nature for the constituency of Andalusia.
On 11 March 2025, the RFEF Electoral Commission agreed to ‘Accept the resignation of Mr. José María Mazuecos Morales, resulting in him losing his seat as an elected member of the General Assembly of the Royal Spanish Football Federation of Mr. Jose María Mazuecos Morales’. Said resolution was notified to the interested parties by electronic means on 12 March 2025, and published on the RFEF website on the same day.
In view of the above, and in application of Order EFD/42/2024, of 25 January, which regulates the electoral processes in Spanish sports federations, of the Regulations for elections to the General Assembly, its Delegate Commission and the Presidency of the RFEF, and of the resolution of the Electoral Commission of the RFEF, and the resolution of the Electoral Commission of the RFEF, dated 11 March 2025, we hereby proceed to call for by-elections for the body of football players participating in regional-level non-professional competitions, in the Region of Andalusia.
The election call is open as of today's date and the elections will be held on 26 May 2025. The following is attached to this call for elections:
a) Provisional electoral roll, which is accessible in accordance with the provisions of article 6.4 of Order EFD/ 42/2024.
b) Distribution of the number of members of the General Assembly according to specialities, levels and electoral constituencies.
c) Electoral calendar.
d) Official models of ballot papers and their envelopes, in accordance with the provisions of Annex II of the Order.
e) Nominal composition of the Electoral Commission and deadlines.
f) Procedure for postal voting.
g) Electoral Regulations
Both the call for elections and the documentation listed in the previous section are announced on the main website of the Federation, both on the home page and in the section entitled ‘Electoral Processes’, and on social networks, as well as on the same communication channels of the Andalusian Football Federation. Likewise, the announcement of the call will be published in two of the newspapers with the largest national circulation.
The act of the call may be appealed before the Administrative Court of Sport within five working days from the date of its full publication.
