RFEF makes International Women’s Day visible by dressing façade with tribute

The World Champions feature on the banner commemorating International Women's Day; in addition, the Federation's social networks will be painted in the colour associated with this important date.

The RFEF wanted to make 8 March visible by dressing its façade with a tribute to women representing the world champions.

From today until next Monday, the Ciudad del Fútbol will be welcoming all visitors and employees with a giant banner reminding them of the importance of this day.

In addition, the Federation will paint its social networks purple, creating more visibility regarding the fight for equality.

It is the commitment of the institution that runs football in Spain to continue advancing in equality policies, as demonstrated by the creation of a specific department dedicated to this matter. The social responsibility of football and its effect as a loudspeaker for society as a whole is present in the projects implemented by the RFEF in this area.

These are initiatives that Montse Tomé, national team coach, wanted to highlight, highlighting "the great effort that the Federation has been making in terms of equality in recent times". "In what I control the most, the day to day work for the national team, we are very happy with the work and effort that we are seeing and noticing", she said.
