Slovenian referee Obrenović to officiate Denmark vs. Spain

A referee has been appointed for the fifth matchday of the UEFA Nations League, scheduled for this Friday, 15 November, at 20:45 at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen in the shape of Rade Obrenović.

The 34-year-old referee, born in Ljubljana (Slovenia), served as fourth official in five matches of the last European Championships, which Spain won, and has also taken charge off games in the Nations League, Champions League, and Europa League. The only previous match he officiated involving a Spanish team was the clash between Union Berlin and Real Madrid (2-3) in the last edition of the Champions League.

This will be the first time Rade Obrenović officiates a match for the reigning European champions, and he will be joined by Jure Praprotnik (Assistant Referee), Grega Kordež (Assistant Referee), and Dejan Balažič (Fourth Official), all of whom are also Slovenian.
