Spain and Denmark meet for the eighteenth time ever
The national team will play against the Danish side on 12 October at the Enrique Roca Stadium in Murcia.

Luis de la Fuente's team will play their first match back in Spain after winning the European Championships and they will do so against an opponent they know very well, Denmark. The match in Murcia will be the eighteenth meeting between the two sides, although they have not met since 20 August 2008.
In that friendly, Spain won 3-0 in Copenhagen thanks to a brace from Xabi Alonso and a goal from Xavi Hernández. Of the 17 meetings, the national team have won ten and drawn three times.
