Spain and the highest expectations

Euro mode, activated. With the tournament just around the corner, the national team is already attracting all the media attention and expectations are soaring sky high among all the staff at the possibility of winning Spain’s fourth continental tournament. From 14 June to 14 July, a battle between the superpowers of European football to see who is the best on our continent.

This Monday, at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas, the official Media Day was held, an event which aroused enormous interest among the media. More than 120 journalists were given access to the home of Spanish football and they all listened closely to the opinions of the internationals  Radio, television, written press, digital media, agencies... All forms of the media had access to the footballers to ask them about anything and everything related to the upcoming European Championships.

Spain have been training at Las Rozas since Saturday and this Tuesday they travel to Badajoz, where on Wednesday they will play Andorra in the first friendly of their pre tournament preparations. The second match takes place on Saturday 8 June in Palma against Northern Ireland, the last test before travelling to Germany and focusing on Croatia, Italy and Albania, opponents in a very demanding group stage.
