Spain Captain Álvaro Morata Supporting the National Team in Las Rozas
On the afternoon that marks 50 days since the victory over England in the final in Berlin, the man who lifted the European Championships trophy into the skies over Germany was able to meet up with his team-mates.
Álvaro Morata, who is absent from the current squad due to injury, came to the Ciudad del Fútbol to greet the players and coaching staff, as well as to share a few moments of smiles and friendship with his teammates, to whom he conveyed his support for these next two international matches.
Coach Luis de la Fuente first embraced the striker, who then greeted the other members of the national team one by one before having a friendly chat with the squad.
Spain, who will hold and open training session on Monday evening, begin their UEFA Nations League title defence this September with visits to Serbia in Belgrade and Switzerland in Geneva.
