The Spanish National Team are coming back to play in Spain after winning the UEFA Women's Nations League. The team do so as part of the first two qualification stage matches in their quest for a place at European Championships in the summer of 2025.

Spain will make their debut in this qualifying tournament in Belgium on 5 April and play their first home game against the Czech Republic at the Estadio Municipal El Plantío on 9 April at 19:00 (Spanish peninsular time). The venue is where Burgos Club de Fútbol play their home games and where Montse Tomé's team will play their first match as Nations League champions on home soil.

The national team will thus begin their journey towards another European Championships and after these two matches they play four more games before 16 July.

Burgos is, therefore, a vital stop on Spain's march towards the next continental tournament.
