Spain fight the cold with their supporters’ warmth

The Spanish national team trained with more than 800 fans watching on from the stands of the Ciudad del Fútbol.

On a chilly afternoon to start the month of April, the national team held its first training session of the camp and invited the public along for the open session. Montse Tomé's team first worked out in the gym and then, those who had no matches on Sunday, took to pitch A at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas.

A short training session to start the week, but one which had its greatest reward at the end of the session, as all the internationals approached the public for more than half an hour to take photos with the fans and sign all kinds of objects.

The training session was broadcast live and in full on the Spanish national team’s official channels.

Spain return to the pitch this Tuesday, in a training session behind closed doors, to continue preparing for the matches against Belgium and the Czech Republic, the first two matches of the qualifiers for the 2025 European Championships.

Spain trained at the federation headquarters this Monday afternoon, 1 April.
