The end of the year came for the Spanish women's national team, who were about to close 2022 with a thrilling match against Japan at La Cartuja stadium in Seville. 

After winning handily against Argentina, the national team coached by Jorge Vilda wanted the icing on the cake for their preparation stage for the World Championship with another victory.

The opening whistle blew and the Spanish made their intentions clear. The Spanish national team controlled the first half, and it took just eight minutes for Alba Redondo to make it 1-0.

Maria Perez made her debut against Japan, and Jorge Vilda gave minutes to eight players who were wearing the women's national team jersey for the first time.

The Spanish national team was ahead on the scoreboard, but in the second half, the game became equal when both teams showed their great qualities.
