Hours before travelling to Berlin, where Croatia await on Saturday in the first match of Group B at the European Championships, the Spanish national team trained for the last time at the SV Aasen facilities, the home for the tournament.

Luis de la Fuente led an intense training session in which he worked on the final details before the opening match against the Croatians at the Olympic Stadium in the German capital, scheduled for 18:00 in Spanish time and broadcast live on La1. The whole squad took part in the session apart from centre-back Aymeric Laporte who was training away from the rest of the group.

After the session, held in overcast and gusty conditions, the players and coaching staff are scheduled to have lunch at base camp before travelling by road to Stuttgart and from there catching a flight to Berlin.

On Friday afternoon, coach Luis de la Fuente and captain Rodrigo Hernandez will attend the official pre-match press conference at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.
