Spain rises to the second position in the FIFA rankings after their historic triumph in Australia

The Spanish Women's National Team climbs four positions after being crowned world champion in the recently concluded World Cup in Australia and New Zealand

Following the brilliant accomplishment of the World Championship last Sunday, the recognitions for our Team continue to pour in. The latest one is the spectacular rise in the FIFA Women's World Ranking.

By defeating England with a one-nil score in the grand final in Sydney, Spain has surged up four positions in one go, ascending from the sixth to the second position.

Only Sweden, the third-place finisher in the 2023 World Cup, is ahead of the Spanish National Team in this global ranking. The United States, first in the last update of said ranking, drops to the third position behind Spain and Sweden.
